Education is the all round development of an individual ie. harmony with the universal, the supreme person, who has himself the various levels. It includes two components, teaching and learning. Teaching is the stimulation, guidance, direction and encouragement of learning. Learning is the process of developing the ability to respond adequately to a situation. The faculty of Diana College of Nursing and School of Nursing believes that the learning is a shared effort of faculty and students. The faculty are responsible for selection, direction and evaluation of learning experiences. Students are responsible for responding to learning experiences as active participants. The nursing education under Diana Education Trust (R) is a planned integrated program for education of professional nurses, which is a dynamic, therapeutic and educative process in meeting the changing health needs of the society.
