M. Sc Nursing

1. The candidate shall be a registered nurse and registered midwife or equivalent with any state nursing registration council
2. The minimum education requirements shall be the passing of B.Sc Nursing / B.Sc Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc Nursing with minimum of 55% aggregate marks
3. The candidate sould have undergone in B.Sc Nursing / B.Sc Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc Nursing in an Institution which is recognized by Indian Nursing Council
4. Minimum one year of work experience after B.Sc Nursing
5. Minimum one year of work experience prior or after Post Basic Nursing course
6. Candidate shall be medically fit

Basic B.Sc. Nursing
The candidate seeking admission to B. Sc Nursing course shall meet the following eligibility Criteria -

1. Passed the two year Pre-University examination or its equivalent as recognized by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, with science subjects, Viz: Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Englis
2. Obtained at least 50% of total marks in Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English) of the qualifying examination.
3. Candidate from the stream of Vocational Higher Secondary Course conducted by the Board of Vocational Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, and the candidate shall have taken a minimum of 5 subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English in addition to the vocational subject.
4. Completed 17 years of age at the time of admission

Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing
The candidate seeking admission to Post Basic B. Sc Nursing course shall meet the following eligibility Criteria -

1. Hold a diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM)
2. Be a registered nurse
3. Have a minimum of two years experience in a hospital or community health setup
4. Have passed Pre-University examination in arts/science/commerce conducted by Department of Pre University Education, Karnataka State or its equivalent recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences
5. Be medically fit

General Nursing and Midwifery Course
A candidate seeking admission should have

1. Passed the two year Pre-University examination or / its equivalent two year university examination (Viz: PUC/PDC/HSC/10+2 with Science Subject).
2. Male or Female candidates between 17 and 35 years of age.

How to apply
Application form for admission may be obtained from the college on payment of Rs. 500/- by cash or DD drawn in favor of Secretary, Diana Education Trust ® along with self addressed envelope. The candidate should read the prospectus carefully before filling the application form. The form must be filled in block letters in English and in the candidates own handwriting. No overwriting, additions or deletions are permitted. If any of the particulars are found be false, such applications will be rejected. The completed application form should be sent to the college address along with attested Xerox copies of relevant documents.

Interview
Eligible candidates will be called for an interview. The original documents must be produced at the time of interview viz. Interview card, SSLC Marks card / or its equivalent, Higher secondary marks sheet / or its equivalent, Transfer Certificate, Conduct Certificate, Migration Certificate (Non-Karnataka student) and Physical fitness certificate.

Admission
Selected candidates must submit the above mentioned original educational documents along with 3 sets of Xerox copies, 6 photos and 6 envelope covers with stamp addressing to self. The prescribed fee should be paid on the date of admission in the form of DD in favor of Secretary, Diana Education Trust ®. The candidate should abide by the rules and regulations of the institution. Any act of indiscipline will be viewed with serious concern and may result in dismissal.

Fee
As prescribed by University / Board from time to time. Once the fee paid to the college will not be refunded at any circumstances against any cancellation / withdrawal of the admission due to any reason. If any, the candidate must pay the fee of subsequent academic years against cancellation / Withdrawal.
