M.Sc Nursing
The M.Sc. Nursing Program at Diana College of Nursing provides an opportunity for the students to develop leadership qualities to practice professional nursing at first level position independently and effectively as nurse specialist, educator, researcher and administrator at various levels in community and hospital setup. The M. Sc Nursing program is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health sciences, Karnataka and approved by Karnataka State Nursing Council and Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi (Vide Notification No. 02/Jun/2009-INC Dated 15/06/2009).
 
Course of Study
The course of study shall be for two completed academic years. In the first year M. Sc. Nursing course the following three subjects shall be the common subjects to all candidates irrespective of speciality chosen:
- Nursing Education
- Advance Nursing Practice
- Nursing research and Statistics
Candidates may choose any one of the branches of study at the time of admission. No change of branch of study shall be permitted after a candidate joins the course.
- Medical surgical nursing
- Obstetrics and Gynecological nursing
- Pediatric (Child Health) nursing
- Psychiatric (Mental health) nursing
- Community health nursing
In the second year M. Sc. Nursing course the subject “Nursing Management” shall be common to all candidate irrespective of subject speciality chosen.

Basic B.Sc. Nursing
B.Sc Nursing Program is broad based education with an academic framework specifically directed to the development of critical thinking skills, competencies & standards required for practice of professional nursing to meet the changing health needs of the community. B.Sc Nursing Program promotes its graduates to assume at first as well as second level position in all heath care setting / agencies.
 
The Diana College of Nursing is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and approved by Karnataka state government, Karnataka State Nursing Council and also Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi (Vide Notification No.18-15/1120-INC Dated 04/03/2009).

Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing
The Post Basic B.Sc. degree in nursing is a broad based education aimed to build the skill and competencies acquired at Diploma in Nursing level. It is designed to enable the graduates to assume the role of teacher, supervisor and manager in clinical / public health settings. The Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing course is affiliated to Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi (Vide notification No.02/DEC/2010).

General Nursing and Midwifery
The Diploma course in General Nursing and Midwifery is geared to the health needs of the individual, family, community and the country at large. It is designed to prepare nurses with a sound educational program in nursing to enable them to function as efficient members of the health team, beginning with the competencies for first level positions in all kinds of health care settings. The Jnana Jyothi School of Nursing under Diana Education trust ® is approved by Karnataka State Nursing Council and Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi (vide Notification No. 18-15/1594-INC dated 05-05-2006).
